The Clinical Research Forum provides value to the PMI Atlanta community by regularly discussing the various aspects of clinical trial projects with special focus on the need to anticipate, understand, and implement detailed project management activities in a proactive manner for clinical trials in the pharmaceutical industry.

Biography Moss-Terry   

Dr. Terris Moss is a visionary leader in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, dedicated to advancing health equity and patient advocacy. With extensive experience across various therapeutic areas, including oncology, cardiovascular, immunology, neuroscience, rare diseases, and women's health, she brings a wealth of expertise to her clinical project management and quality systems roles.

Terris holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Informatics with a focus on healthcare quality, a master’s in clinical research sciences, and a master’s in business administration with a focus on marketing. She is also a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her research has been published in prestigious journals and has authored white papers contributing valuable insights to the healthcare community.

As a licensed practical nurse and certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Terris combines clinical expertise with strategic program leadership, driving initiatives that prioritize patient-centricity and diversity. Her leadership extends beyond her professional roles; she served as President of the Board of Directors for the Rutgers School of Health Professions Alumni Association and contributed to the editorial board of Clinical eHealth, publishing impactful research on health equity and clinical outcomes.

Within her roles in global pharmaceutical companies, Terris provided strategic guidance for patient advocacy strategies and contributed significantly to the development of governance structures to advance pediatric oncology research. Her ability to navigate complex global challenges and uphold regulatory compliance has been instrumental in driving impactful initiatives. She is actively engaged in the broader pharmaceutical community, advocating for early engagement and collaboration with Patient Advocacy Groups to improve patient outcomes.
