Elevate the quality of your meetings and achieve more meaningful outcomes by attending “The Art of Facilitation: Enhancing Meetings through Effective Communication.” In this session, we will explore essential techniques tailored for Project Managers to ensure that meetings are efficient, productive, and engaging while also discovering practical strategies for structuring meetings that maximize engagement and productivity. We will address the evolving landscape of virtual meetings by overcoming challenges of physical and technological barriers. We will use real-world examples to show how effective communication and strong facilitation skills are crucial to cultivating relationships, driving greater organizational success, and most importantly, establishing an environment in which every participant feels heard, valued, and motivated to contribute.

Keynote Presenter Biography

MARTA operates the eighth-largest heavy rail rapid transit within the United States, serving nearly 100,000 patrons daily on heavy rail and over 200,000 rides across the entire transit system. MARTA offers their patrons a comprehensive public transit network covering heavy rail, light rail, and bus systems within Fulton, Clayton, and DeKalb counties.

Josh joined MARTA because they share his mission to advocate for safe, multimodal transit services that advance prosperity, connectivity, and equity for a more livable Metropolitan Atlanta. Every day he endeavors to offer the efficiency and excellence in Customer Service necessary to deliver a stronger MARTA brand that will take people where they want to go today and tomorrow.

He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering and was a member of the University’s Engineering Club all through his undergraduate studies. During his career, he has managed successful programs within the Military Acquisition, Pharmacy, Geotechnical Engineering, and Transportation industries.
